It’s only just turned June, Cairns Festival is almost three
months away, but we are itching to get started so let’s bring on
the first upcoming musical highlights!
The Cairns Festival headliners will kick off with Missy Higgins’
twilight show in Munro Martin Parklands as she sets free her
irresistible melodies in the open-air theatre beneath the stars.
Julia Zemiro, Brian Nankervis and The RocKwiz OrKestra will be
unleashing their witty blend of kwiz, comedy and live music, at
RocKwiz Live.
Tim Rogers, lead singer of You Am I, will host his mythical
radio show, Liquid Nights in Bohemia Heights at the Tanks Arts
Centre. A musical mash-up of interviews, listener talkback and
’regular spots and segments’.
