AQUATIC CRITTERS
The diversity of the Great Barrier Reef’s
spectacular underwater world has been captured
by guests of Mike Ball Dive Expeditions.

With a World Heritage-listed site as the backdrop, it’s probably
no surprise that entries in Mike Ball Dive Expeditions’ annual
photography competition have produced some spectacular
images. Guests have captured everything from a shark feeding
frenzy, to the adorable preciousness of a miniature sea horse.
There are categories for the DSLR users who are generally pro or
semi-pro, as well as amateur photographers with compact point
and shoot cameras.
This year, the ultimate winner was in the latter category.
Managing Director Craig Stephen told Tropic it’s always a
difficult selection process. Here are some of the winners of the
2020/21 competition.
