TAIPANS 20 TH SEASON ANNIVERSARY

                                                                                                   2006/2007

             Uniform Evolution

Originally navy blue, the Taipans primary colour became
a bold, strong orange in 2007 – and the Orange Army was
born. The dark navy palette is still preferred for the alternative
“away” strip, however this year all teams in the NBL will be
wearing predominantly white uniforms to display which 2009/2010
teams are on the road. This season, the Taipans kits will
include a “snake skin” feature down the side panels, in a nod to
previous uniforms which utilised this pattern.
In 2010, the NBL introduced a league apparel provider that all
clubs would have to utilise. Prior to this, the Taipans sourced
their own uniform supplier to produce their home and away kits.
While there have many a number of different brands (Mitchell
& Ness, And1, ISC) the League have endeavoured to take 2017/2018
production in-house for 2018/19, under the moniker “First Ever.”
