              We’re all about helping people
                 get practical commercial
                 outcomes, not drowning
them in legal jargon, and we
               pride ourselves on making it
                affordable for our clients.

The two are also focussed on making
the separation transition as easy as
possible for the parents and especially
             the children.
“We send a lot of our clients who are
parents to courses and seminars and
give them information, so they can
learn now to keep their children out of
the conflict,” Amalie said. “It’s all about
the best interests of the children and
helping to make sure children have a
             good relationship with both parents.”
While both have empathy for their
             clients, they’re also objective.
             “We’re straight shooters, so we’re
totally upfront with clients, no matter
how hard the reality might be for
             them,” Catherine said. “We give
objective advice that we know will
             ultimately help them.
“Our aim is to have a quick and
             amicable agreement, keep them out
of court and help them move on in
             their lives.
“You may have heard the saying, ‘A good Breaking up the facts
divorce is better than a bad marriage’,
but a good divorce starts with a good Census data reveals there’s been a slight increase in the rates of
family lawyer!” separation and divorce in Cairns over the past 10 years. Compared to the
national average, our city has a much lower proportion of married couples
in the community and a higher rate of separation and divorce.
