Meet Eat Repeat recap
It’s been a big couple of
months in the delicious world
of Meet Eat Repeat.
Over the past couple of months,
TropicNow’s foodie festival branched
out for the first time to some unique
venues on the Northern Beaches and
the Cairns CBD. The results were
sensational thanks to a stellar line-up
of food vendors and the smiling good
vibes of thousands of attendees.
First, Meet Eat Repeat took over
Paradise Palms on June 23. Despite
some grey skies and rainy patches
throughout the day, around 3500
people turned up to one of the most
beautiful settings in Cairns. Our team
worked with Paradise Palms to close
off the 18th hole for the afternoon so
foodies could kick back on the green
grass of the fairway as 20 sweet and
savoury vendors lined the periphery.
Meet Eat Repeat will return to Paradise
Palms on the 29th September.
In July, Meet Eat Repeat partnered with
the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair to give
festival-goers a taste of TNQ’s finest
menus at the cruise liner terminal.
With a curated line-up of vendors for
opening night and even more food
options for the following three days
of the art fair, attendees got to sample
some of the region’s tastiest treats
in between checking out some of the
nation’s best Aboriginal and Torres
Strait Islander art. It was the perfect
combination in a stunning waterfront
location.
