           The holistic benefits of team or club sports have been
           well-documented for decades. COVID, though, had many of us
           standing aside – losing both our social and physical outlets.

           Here at Tropic, we realise footy, cricket or netball isn’t for everyone. So, we’ve come up
           with some alternatives to keep your body moving and widen your friendship circle.
           The other benefit is that many of these competitions are just kicking off or set to soon.




                                            Kyokushin karate
                                            This is fighting karate, rather than sport
                                            karate. It’s a full-contact martial art,
                                            with this particular school originating
                                            from Japan. Kyokushin is renowned as
                                            ‘the strongest karate’ due to its students’
                                            physical, spiritual and mental strength.
