Four-step cocktails
GIN
Who says you need fancy ingredients to enjoy
a tropical cocktail at home?
It’s no secret that one of the favourite home iso activities is
enjoying a beverage or two. In fact, the Global Drug Survey
(GDS) found that Australians, on average, got drunk 27
times throughout the first year of the pandemic – GIN MOJITO
more than double the world average, and more than any 45ml Wolf Lane Tropical Gin
other country. While we don’t endorse binge drinking, Six chunks of limes (local is best)
we’re certainly in support of a homemade cocktail, and Handful of mint, slightly bruised
especially if it’s made with some of the Far North’s world Teaspoon of sugar
class spirits. We’ve asked Wolf Lane Distillery for a few
of their go-to drinks; all made with only three or four Method Combine all ingredients into
ingredients, and about as many steps. a tall glass. Muddle ingredients with
bar muddle or a large spoon.

GRAPEFRUIT SPRITZ
30ml Wolf Lane Tropical Gin
60ml ruby grapefruit juice
Soda water
Method Add gin and grapefruit juice
to a large wine glass. Fill with ice.
Stir and top with soda water.
Garnish with a slice of grapefruit.
DAVIDSON PLUM SOUR
60ml Wolf Lane Davidson Plum Gin
30ml lemon juice (fresh works best)
15ml sugar syrup*
15ml aquafaba*
Method Add all ingredients into
a cocktail shaker. Add ice and hard shake
until cocktail shaker is cold. Strain into
cocktail coupe (you can use a tea strainer).
Garnish with a lemon peel.
*Sugar syrup is made by dissolving equal amounts
of sugar and water in a saucepan over low heat
