The sky’s the limit for Cairns
Aviation student
CQUniversity second-year student, Zara Chauvin-Hartmann,
is pursuing her passion for aviation in the comfort of her
hometown Cairns, thanks to the University’s Bachelor of
Aviation (Flight Operations).
“Cairns is growing and developing as an international hub for
aviation in Australia,” Ms Chauvin-Hartmann said.
“I think it’s the best place to be when starting out. There are
so many opportunities for a future here with increased job
prospects.
“My endgame is to become the youngest female captain – a
great goal to strive for and work towards.
“I believe the pathways CQUniversity has set up with
Hinterland and Virgin Australia will make my dream that much
more attainable.”

Tricia recently began work as a registered nurse in the

“Nursing is something I always wanted to do, but I became

“I decided there would be no more excuses and I am very
