DESTINATION NORTH II
EXHIBITION AND ARTIST STUDIO

6 March - 26 April
Destination North II is the second in a series of
exhibitions that showcases new works by local
artists, Julie McEnerny, Hannah Parker, Cathy
Snow and Melanie Hava. Each of the artists will
be exploring the unique flora and fauna of Far
North Queensland.
The exhibition will include an ‘open studio’
allowing visitors to meet and talk with the artists
and learn about what inspires their arts practice.
Works in the exhibition are for sale and exclusive
merchandise is available through the Gallery Shop.

I am the old and the new is a major touring exhibition of
works by master bark painter, John Mawurndjul. An
artistic innovator, Mawurndjul’s works are experimental,
intricate, and exceptionally beautiful. They depict
important subjects and themes including the Ngalyod
(Rainbow Serpent), ancestral beings and significant sites
in western Arnhem Land.
