YOU AM I
The alternative rockers were the
first band to release three successive
albums to debut at #1 on the ARIA
Albums Chart in the late 90s. They
received no less than 10 ARIA awards
from 31 nominations during this
time. They certainly know how to rock
a crowd, supporting international
artists like The Who, The Rolling
Hear the scene Stones and Oasis.
MUSIC PURITY
Get ready: Scene & Heard will
bring old-school music festival
vibes to Cairns. The nostalgic
line-up hails from a time when
festivals were more about
energy and wild abandon
than Instagram opportunities
and likes. Time to put your
phones away and soak up the WOLFMOTHER
authentic atmosphere. Headlining the festival and fresh from an international tour and this year’s
Splendour in the Grass is Grammy and ARIA award recipients Wolfmother.
From the moment the electrifying riff kicks off in Joker and the Thief to the
psychedelic breakdown in Woman, Wolfmother’s epic hard rock catalogue is
tailor-made for the ultimate festival experience.
ALEX LLOYD
Singer-songwriter Alex Lloyd is
celebrating the 20th anniversary of
his ARIA award-winning, double
platinum-selling Black the Sun, which
was voted by Triple J listeners as the
number one album in 1999. At Scene
& Heard he’ll play his debut album MAGIC DIRT
in full, re-living his Big Day Out Most known for their 2000 hit Dirty Jeans, the alt-rock icons are back playing
and Homebake days. The album was together ten years after the sad death of their bassist and co-founder Dean
released about five years before Lloyd’s Turner. Magic Dirt was also recently inducted into the National Live Music
breakthrough song Amazing. Awards Hall of Fame as the inaugural live legends.
