CIAF fashion show

TANKS ART CENTRE
A stunning melting pot of fashion, art, dance, and
music, this year’s Cairns Indigenous Art Fair fashion
performance was a sell-out success.
Titled Buwal-barra … Messenger. Yesterday. Today.
Tomorrow, the fashion performance showcased
wearable art and elaborate adornments created by
Indigenous designers from across Queensland.
The show was jointly curated by craftsman Bernard
Singleton, sustainable fashion designer Simone
Arnol and choreographed by professional dancer
Hans Ahwang.
