Falcons touchdown

rough and tumble action of the Cairns
Falcons’ first home game of the season.

Vico Oval in Mooroobool is perhaps best known as the
home of local rugby league club Cairns Kangaroos, but
in recent times the ground has also played host to one of
the city’s emerging codes - American Gridiron.
The Cairns Falcons played their first home game of
the 2018-19 season against the Mackay Mavericks on
November 17. Unfortunately, the home town hosts went
down to the visiting Mavericks in a tough 24-16 battle.
