problems. But if there was a way to
anonymously put business problems
out to the entrepreneur community for
them to solve, it would bring new
solutions to old problems.
Should there be more under-40s in
leadership positions in politics and
business?
Having people under-40 in leadership
positions is a hard one. They may lack
experience but they could also bring
new perspectives. I believe in the right
person for the right job.

Along with Innisfail product Kate Haren, Cairns footy star Tahlulah Tillett is on her
way to the NRL’s new women’s comp after securing a spot in the Australian
national elite training squad. Since starting in touch footy at the age of 10, Tahlulah
has trained relentlessly to make it to the top. “Girls in our part of the world have to
realise there are opportunities, but it depends on whether you’re willing to work
hard enough to create those opportunities for yourself. It took me seven years of
hard work to make my first QLD side and since I was about 15 I’ve been training
pretty much every day to get to that goal. It’s consumed my life and there’s been a
lot of sacrifices but I wouldn’t change a thing.”
