Six years ago, pharmacists Frank and Vince Pappalardo embarked on a mission to focus on the whole health of the community they served and thus transformed their Pease Street store.
The brothers expanded the chemist to introduce natural health services including everything from nutritional and eco cleaning products to chemical-free skin care.
WholeLife Pharmacy & Healthfoods concept store was officially launched in 2017 and since then it’s been embraced, with 24 stores now carrying its name across the country.
There are franchises in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and many regional areas in between, making WholeLife Australia’s leading pharmacy and health foods retailer.

“We care about the whole life of you and your family,” said co-founder Frank Pappalardo.
“We doubled our footprint to allow for our new, holistic health focussed products.
“We then spent time trialling new products and developing the concept.
“Today we offer the products and services Australians know and trust plus one of the country’s widest ranges of natural and organic products across skincare, beauty, healthfoods, eco-living and nutrition.”
Far from resting on their laurels, the Pappalardo brothers have further developed their calling.
They are now a certified medicinal cannabis supplier in Cairns and have also introduced a range of services such as naturopathy, gut health, skin wellness and sports nutrition.

“Our team of health practitioners, who are all locals, are able to provide more to help support your whole health,” co-founder Vince Pappalardo said.
“You are even able to book our qualified sports nutritionist who can help you with professional advice when it comes to training and exercise, sports nutrition and recovery, sports supplements, weight loss concerns and general healthier living.”
The Pease Street flagship store also offers immunisations, dose administration support and compounding to produce medications for unique requirements.
It has a state-of-the-art prescription robot system for fast and efficient prescription dispensing seven days a week.
