Modern Pantry is hosting a Valentine's Day Kids Cooking Class, teaching young ones to make a range of tasty treats to share the love.

Tamarind is making the most of the romance by hosting a sexy degustation inspired by foods that contain an aphrodisiac. This menu is only available tonight and the 14th!

Sunday 12 February

An annual event, The Chambers is back with their Gal-entine's Bottomless Brunch. Join in supporting charity Ovarian Cancer with 100 percent of proceeds going towards this worthy cause. Dress in your best white attire for this fun-filled day. There are two sitting for brunch however, both are known to sell out, so make sure to give them a call and see if you can sneak in. Monday 13 February

Treat your bestie to a night at the theatre with tickets to Rhondo Theatre's upcoming production Girl in Tan Boots. Until February 15 you can grab a double pass to opening night for you and your Galentine for $48 (use the code 'Besties'). With an all female cast, this true crime meets 'Kath N Kim' production is sure to be the perfect night out at the theatre. Opening night: March 9.

Tuesday 14 February

Indulge in an Asian fusion feast at Paper Crane by Crystalbrook with a friend or lover. The Paper Crane Hearts special menu offers a 5 course degustation for two with a bottle of wine selected by the team. Tickets: $149 per couple.

Take a romantic Valentine's Dinner Cruise on the Spirit of Cairns. Enjoy a three-course dinner on the water and make the most of the evening with views of the city and a fully equiped bar. What more do you need? Tickets: $120 per person.

Pinot & Picasso is hosting Superhero Sweethearts, an evening of painting your partner - as a superhero. Making for a unique experience, the event is for those looking to step outside their comfort zone and paint your partner as the superhero they are to you. Be it Batman, Mr incredible, Wonder-Woman or your very own superhero creation. BYO partner, dress up is optional, but appreciated. Tickets: $59 per person.

Celebrate your love this Valentine's Day with a romantic 4 course dinner at C’est Bon. Indulge in a specially crafted menu, complete with a complimentary fresh rose, served in an alternate drop style. Share each dish or savour each bite, it's a night made for love and indulgence. A go-to for every occasion, Nu Nu is having a 3 course dinner that's set to burst with flavour and tantalise your tastebuds. Who wouldn't want to finish with that on Valentine's Day? Tickets: $119 per person.

This isn't a mistake, you do indeed have another opportunity to Paint Your Partner tonight, this time with Paint and Sip. This evening requires a little more planning as you'll need to provide an appropriate photo of your partner on advance. BYO drinks and nibbles, we'd assume partner too. Tickets: $80 per person, $150 couple.

Head to Salt House and treat your loved one to a romantic 3 course set menu at the Marina. If you really want to up the ante, you have the option to add a single red rose, some FNQ local chocolates, or a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champas. Tickets: $129 per person.

Who doesn't love some pasta to kick off a romantic evening? Enjoy Valentine's Day at Flynn's Italian featuring a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival, followed by a 4 course tasting menu. Tickets: $99 per person.

Celebrate love at Ochre with a romantic evening and views of the inlet. Ochre is serving up a specially crafted menu featuring the freshest local ingredients. Tickets: $95 per person.

For an alternative take, enjoy a Valentine's Day Special Crystal Bowls Meditation with sound angel, Renee Cashman. This session is set to restore balance to each of the seven major chakras, calm the mind, and bring harmony. Tickets: $15 per person.
