Crocodile heads and drugs seized by Innisfail police
Three men are facing a total of 26 charges after police discovered methylamphetamine, LSD, cannabis, cash, ammunition and two crocodile heads at two addresses south of Innisfail.
Search warrants were executed in Wangan and Camp Creek on Saturday.
A 39-year-old Camp Creek man was charged with 11 offences and remains in custody after he didn’t apply for bail during a court appearance yesterday.
A 50 year-old Nanum man was denied bail after being charged with ten offences, while a 40 year-old Kurrimine Beach man received four charges including breaching bail.
A fourth man was given a drug diversion for the possession of a dangerous drug and a drug utensil.
It’s a legislated program that allows police to offer participation in a drug diversion assessment program as an alternative to prosecution.
