Summer Sounds set to bring three top singers to Cairns

Live music is coming back to our city in a big way this summer.

Across three weekends in February, Cairns Performing Arts Centre (CPAC) will host three top Australian musicians in its new line of events, Summer Sounds.

John Butler will bring in the first week of the month, followed by Bernard Fanning and Amy Shark. Better yet, they're all playing two shows each in Cairns.

John Butler will play on two shows at CPAC to kick off his national tour.

From busking on the streets of Fremantle to playing packed out festivals, arenas and amphitheatres all over the globe, including Glastonbury, Coachella and the Bryon Bay Bluesfest, this is an artist who knows how to engage an audience and keep them hooked.

Tickets to both Thursday 4th and Friday 5th of February performances are available here

Later in the month, Bernard Fanning will bring his country folk-tinged charm and rock grooves to CPAC in another double-header.

The former Powderfinger frontman will play at CPAC on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st of February. Tickets are available here

The following weekend we'll have the chance to see eight-time ARIA award-winning Amy Shark.

The singer songwriter became a household name after releasing her hit single Adore, which went on to attract over 100 million streams and second place in the 2016 triple J Hottest 100.

Find tickets here to Shark's two CPAC shows over Friday 26th and Saturday 27th of February.
